Foyil Ukraine 40 & PFTS
Foyil Securities started to calculate the Foyil Ukraine 40 Index in July 2006 for the purpose of allowing investors to follow more accurately the Ukrainian stock market via a diversified market benchmark. The base of comparison for the Index is September 2001 (100 points). In June 2007, the Index surpassed 1600 points. Whereas the established PFTS Index consists of 16 stocks, the Foyil Ukraine 40 Index comprises the 40 most liquid and traded companies for the past 12 months. The Index basket is reviewed every year to ensure the representativeness and sensitivity of the Index to better reflect the actual state of the Ukrainian stock market. The company must be listed on the PFTS (First Stock Trading System) stock exchange for it to be included in the Foyil Ukraine 40 Index basket.
