Agshin Mirzazade 
Head of Research: Banking, Insurance

Mr. Mirzazade gained his MBA at Duquesne University, Pittsburgh, PA, in 2006 after winning a scholarship sponsored by US Agency for International Development. Prior to that, he had been involved in the banking industry in Azerbaijan since 1996, working as a credit manager with leading commercial banks and international financial donors. He joined Foyil Securities in October, 2006 and in addition to heading the research department he covers banking and insurance sectors.

Aleksey Nekrasa
Equity Research Analyst

Aleksey has joined Foyil team from MT-Invest where he served as an M&A analyst. Previously, Aleksey also worked for Gainsfort Research, Galt & Taggart and Millenium Capital. Was ranked by Thomson Extel Survey 2008 as Top 3 analyst in capital goods. Aleksey graduated from Northwestern State University of Louisiana. At Foyil he is covering machinery.

Yevhenia Akhtyrko 
Analyst

Yevhenia Akhtyrko possesses extensive experience in equity and other analytical research, which she gained through working many years in both the private and non-profit sectors. Prior to joining the Foyil team, Ms. Akhtyrko worked as a senior analyst at Gainsfort Research and Galt and Taggart Securities in Kyiv, Ukraine. Before coming to the investment industry, she worked as chief economist for the International Center for Policy Studies. Ms. Akhtyrko holds a Master’s degree from Johns Hopkins University (USA). At Foyil, she covers macroeconomics, agriculture and consumer goods.

Alexander Slashchin 
Equity Research Analyst

In December 2010, Alexander received his MBA in General Management from Eastern Washington University, Spokane, WA, USA. Prior to pursuing his MBA, Alexander was working as an engineer, sales manager and finance manager at a regional automotive plant. Alexander is covering pipes and telecom sectors.

Evan Ostryzniuk 
Research Editor

Mr. Ostryzniuk is a Canadian citizen who has been studying and working in Ukraine for the better part of the past decade. He is a graduate of the University of Saskatchewan, Canada with a Master’s degree in Russian History and completed a doctorate in Modern History from the University of Cambridge in 2000. Mr. Ostryzniuk has been with Foyil Securities for over five years and has contributed to the writing, research, editing, and publishing side of the business. Before that, he worked as a journalist and financial editor in Kyiv and taught European and American History at International Christian University in Kyiv.

Oleg Yefimov
Editor/Research assistant

Mr. Yefimov is responsible for publishing Foyil research products in the Russian language, including the translation of news commentaries from analysts, editing, compilation and publication of Russian dailies. Apart from this, he translates and publishes sector reviews and company reports. Oleg has degrees in Linguistics, Literature and Finance. As an FSA Undergraduate Program student, he also studied foreign languages and teaching methodology at University of Wisconsin, Eau Claire. Before joining Foyil, Oleg worked as a translator at the major Ukrainian news agencies Interfax Ukraine and Ukrainian News. He also wrote news contributions for Business Ukraine magazine.
