How do start trading at Foyil Securities?
If you are interested in trading with Foyil Securities, we invite you to go to our Start Trading with Foyil page, where you can register in order to receive the necessary documents and advice you will need to establish your trading account with us.

In what markets does Foyil Securities trade?
We trade mainly in Ukraine, although we also trade in most New Europe markets. We are especially active in the primary equities markets.

Does Foyil Securities open accounts for both institutions and retail individual investors?
Yes. Because we offer such a personalized service, we are fully capable of handling accounts of institutional and retail individual investors.

Is Foyil Securities able to provide me with local custody for my shares?
Yes, we recently opened our own custody service, which is fully licensed and equipped to handle all equity and fixed income documents related to trade execution and registration. Our fees our modest and our service is impeccable.

How do I place an order?
You, as a registered client, can place an order directly by phone with one of our trading representatives during market hours. Our market hours are 9:00 a.m to 18:00 p.m., GMT+2.00 time.

When are orders processed?
Orders are processed every day when the markets are open during normal trading hours. Orders entered near the market close or after market hours will be processed the next morning when the market opens.

When do I pay for a transaction?
Transaction payments are made when the trade order has been confirmed. Payment is made through our system of accounts and settlement dates are determined. You will be informed as soon as the funds have been received and verified.

In what name are my securities held?
We can deliver shares to your Custodian or Prime Broker, or if you prefer, Foyil can serve as Custodian for your shares. Foyil is a licensed custodian for Ukrainian securities.  Generally, shares are held in nominee name by your chosen custodian for ease of transfer and settlement.

When are order confirmations sent?
Written confirmation is sent the day your order is executed, allowing you to verify and confirm you trade instructions.

How can I cancel my order?
By phone or fax directly with your sales executive.

When are statements sent?
We issue statements showing the activity of your account on a monthly basis.

What are some common risks of trading in volatile markets?
It is important for investors to understand some common risks of investing in volatile markets.

High volumes of trading at the market opening or during the day may cause trade execution delays or executions at prices significantly away from the price quoted or displayed at the time you enter your order. Therefore, it is important to know there is no guarantee that your orders will be executed at the prices displayed on this website - whether the displayed quotes are "real-time" or delayed. For this reason, many clients choose to set limits on their purchases and sales.

In a fast moving market, stock prices may change rapidly. If there is a large volume of shares being traded in a particular stock, particularly thinly traded stocks, there may be a delay in executing your order. From the time you obtain a quote and place your order until the time your order is executed, the price may change considerably.

Investors should devise trading strategies for such periods of high volume that include an understanding of the difference between market and limit orders and the benefits and risks of each. Customers should also plan for the possibility of system delays and outages that can occur during periods of high volume.
