How to Invest (FAQs)
This section was designed to answer the most frequent types of questions we receive, if you have other questions or would like to speak to one of our investment professionals please feel free to give us a call (Contact Foyil Asset Management).
The Foyil Fund family is available to all offshore investors and qualified US investors. Separate application forms are available for US investors which require a statement of qualification.
First review the Foyil Fund Offering Memorandum and then simply fill out the application which follows the offering memorandum and send it to us with your investment of $25,000 or more. The Offering Memorandum can be requested by phone or by fax and can also be downloaded from this website by clicking on one of the icons below. It’s simple.
What is your minimum investment requirement? The minimum initial investment for Individual series shares is: US$25,000.
The minimum initial investment for Institutional series shares is: US$1,000,000. The benefit for Institutional series holders is simple: lower fees as much as 50% lower. Investors whose investment in aggregate across a specific family of Foyil funds reaches $1m may request a conversion of their shares into Institutional series shares.
Are there any taxes paid? The Bahamas, where the funds are based, does not levy any taxes on the Funds or the Fund’s investors. However, investors are advised to consult with their own tax advisors.
All Funds are regulated and licensed by The Bahamas Securities Commission.
Do the Funds pay dividends or make regular payouts? The Funds accumulate all capital gains and receipts. As such, dividends are not paid out but rather capital gains and receipts continue to grow in the respective fund.
As certain shareholders may desire a regular payout stream from the Fund, they may select the Systematic Withdrawal Option on the application form which, on a monthly or quarterly basis, will make regular payments to the shareholder while the remaining investment continues to earn full investment returns.
What are the fees paid to Foyil Asset Management? The Foyil Funds are among the lowest cost funds in the offshore industry. We believe that putting our clients first and delivering a superior product at a value price will form the basis of a long term association, something we are prepared to invest in as our company grows. Depending on the fund family you chose, the fees paid to Foyil will vary.
How often are shares available for purchase and redemption? Purchases can be made monthly with quarterly redemption.
Where can I find out the current NAV price? Price information is published daily and updated weekly in the Financial Times of London and is available on our website at www.foyil.com |
