EMERGING OPPORTUNITIES FOR INVESTORS IN UKRAINE

Foyil Securities, Ukraine’s leading brokerage and investment bank, announces that the first truly focused conference on investing in Ukraine was held in New York City, USA. UKRAINIAN INVESTMENT SUMMIT was held on January 29, 2008 in the Tarnopol Room of the Penn Club. The Summit was supported by the Ukrainian Securities and Stock Market Commission and the diplomatic corps of Ukraine in the USA.
This conference is being organized for U.S. fund managers and high net worth individuals who already have invested or are considering investing in Ukraine. Chief executives of international asset management companies, investment managers of the biggest US investment funds, directors of leading financial, oil and gas, metallurgical, insurance Ukrainian companies attended the Ukraine Investment Summit The purpose of the conference was to present the latest developments of the Ukrainian stock market and to introduce new investment ideas.

Третій щорічний Саміт Керівників

Second Annual CEO Summit 2006
The second annual CEO Summit 2006, sponsored by Foyil Securities, was devoted to the theme IPO as a Method to Increase Company Value. This issue has become extremely important for the growing number of Ukrainian companies, many of which have trouble finding external sources of financing to fund their growth on the growing markets of Ukraine. Now that it finds itself on the verge of joining the World Trade Organization, Ukraine is rapidly integrating into the global economy. The intense competition among transnational conglomerates is stimulating domestic companies to find new sources of capital, and considering the high cost and limited amount of financing available in Ukraine proper, use of world capital markets is fast becoming one of the sounder decisions to make.
The CEO Summit 2006 was a unique forum for local businessmen to familiarize themselves at first hand with modern methods and instruments of international capital markets. Among the Summit delegates were leading industry professionals with much experience in international capital markets and top managers of those Ukrainian companies which have already made their debuts on capital markets.
The CEO Summit 2006 also served as a platform for sharing knowledge and experience among companies which have either already exploited or plan to utilize capital markets to attract financing. As a result, a large number of agreements were concluded in 2007 for stock flotation, merger and acquisition deals and the introduction of debt instruments.
Because of the great success of the first two Summits, Foyil Securities intends to follow a similar pattern for future events.
